Wine roads and wineries

Zagorje is characterized by outstanding natural features, so its not surprising that in these areas vines and vineyards were cultivated and raised for centuries. Representing some of the most famous wineries in Krapina-Zagorje County:

• Winery “Vuglec Breg” near Krapina Spa, on the way to Krapina, restored tourist village with original Zagorje houses, vineyards and wine cellars. They offer premium wines and champagnes.
• Winery “Vinski vrh”, located on the road from Zlatar Bistrica to Novi Marof surrounded by the beautiful landscape. As a part of the place is the winery Libertin. Wine offer: Riesling, Pinot Grey, Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Muscat Blanc, Traminac, Chardonnay
• Bodren, located on the way from Pregrada to Hum on Sutla, winner of six gold medals at the World Championships with the Decanter World Wine Awards in London for dessert white wine, ice vintage: Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grey and Couvee
• Winery “Sever” near Klanjec; offer wines: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Grey, Riesling
